TEHRAN (FNA)- A female aid worker was killed by Taliban militants in central Maidan Wardak province, Afghanistan.
Provincial security chief spokesman Gen. Abdul Wali said the body of the non-governmental worker was found hanging from a tree in Chak district, Khaama press agency reported.
He added that she was abducted by Taliban militants around four days ago.
The organization she was working for reportedly provides local residents with food and equipment, with the aim of helping locals create their own workplaces.
